Mean Mary wins 1st & 2nd.

Mean Mary’s (Mary James) songs, Choctawhatchee Waltz and We Never Hear the Song won both first and second place, respectively, in the 2017 Will McLean Best New Florida Song Contest. She will be in Brooksville, FL for the Will McLean Festival on March 10-12, 2017.

Known internationally for her lightning-fast fingers and raw, unmistakable vocal sound, Mean Mary’s Sweet Tour takes her to the Will McLean Festival in Brooksville, Florida.

The event fee varies from $15-$50. There is camping available and all ages are welcome. The venue is located at Sertoma Youth Ranch, 187 Myers Rd, Brooksville, FL 34602. 
  
This Nashville based artist mixes the power of rock with the raw innocence of folk and bluegrass. From her haunting story songs to her incredibly fast banjo, guitar, and fiddle renditions, she promises a fun time geared to all ages.
